I just got a job for temporary work through a company called Action Figures. They are a company that 'provides superior quality on-site staffing and services for conventions, trade shows and conferences in four of America's favorite convention cities: San Diego, San Francisco, Chicago, and now Boston.' The Boston branch just opened so I am very excited to have an opportunity to work in the 2 convention centers in the Boston area. It will be great for networking and will keep me busy when I am not working at my internship. The events/scheduling are very random so it might be weeks before I have an event to attend. So far I know I am scheduled to work July 29/30 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. I will be at the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) event. Hopefully it will be a fun experience and great for networking!
