I am doing my internship with a company called Club House Tickets. The company is located in Derry, New Hampshire and I am working directly with the owner of the company, Courtney Ciulla. She is a licensed ticket broker and learning the business has been interesting and challenging at the same time. She sells tickets nationwide for all sorts of events. (Sports, concerts, theater, entertainment) The Boston sport fans are by far the craziest/most loyal ticket buyers I have seen yet! Learning the computer system is the most difficult part for me because you constantly have to add/remove tickets, look up tickets, complete sales, etc.. through that system. It has been such a learning experience already seeing how much it really takes to start your own company and to run it.

ReplyDeleteThis sounds super exciting Rachel! I agree with the computer system being the most difficult, not that I have tried the one you use. I just know that I'm doing research and I have to constantly ask questions and play with it; really the only time I learn anything is when I have to re-learn after doing it wrong.
